On the year which would have been the 100th birthday of Chet Atkins two fabulous guitarists have put a historical show together featuring two icons of great guitar.
Bruce Forman and Pat Bergeson play the guitars of American music icons Barney Kessel and Chet Atkins, who were their mentors, bosses, and friends.
“To our knowledge, these two masters never spent any time together…but by getting their guitars side by side, making music, we are correcting that historical oversight.”—Bruce Forman.
Both Bruce and Pat toured and played with Barney and Chet and will play guitars previously owned by the two. Bruce in fact has and will play the guitar that Barney played on the Julie London smash hit “Cry Me a River”. In addition to all of that Pat, who is a top Nashville studio player, is a world class chromatic harmonica player and has played on tons of recordings. Online tickets sales close at 6pm the night of the show. Any remaining tickets are for sale at Boulevard Music when doors open At 7:30pm unless noted otherwise. Tickets may also be purchased in person at Blvd Music or by phone (310) 398-2583 using a major credit card.
A $3 service charge per ticket is included in the price for online and phone orders. All ticket sales are final. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. For online ticket purchases, you will need to provide the ticket barcode for entry. Please print your ticket or display the barcode on your phone.
Please note all shows start at 8pm and doors open at 7:30pm unless indicated otherwise. People who already have their tickets (purchased them in advance) get in first when doors open at 7:30 pm. After the people who already have their tickets are admitted any remaining tickets will go on sale.
