Stan Ayeroff
While studying composition at the California Institute of the Arts, Stan fell in love with swing music. He went on to write books on Django Reinhardt, Charlie Christian, and Benny Goodman. He has performed with Texas R&B singer Delbert McClinton and was co-musical director (with Danny Elfman) of the original “Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo.” Stan has been the Orchestral Supervisor for Rod Stewart, Page and Plant, and The Who. He conducted a chamber orchestra for Heart’s concert video, “The Road Home,” on Capitol Records. Stan was also the musical director for a series of projects featuring Roger Daltrey of The Who. Stan was the leader of the band “Dream Street,” a chamber jazz group, and “The Snapdaddys,” a modern swing group. Stan wrote six books of solo guitar arrangements for Warner Bros. Publications, including “Play It Again, Stan” and “The Best of Gershwin.” Having played thousands of solo guitar gigs, a standout moment was having Sean Connery and Sophia Loren dancing together to his solo guitar playing. Stan’s latest book, “Beyond Chord Melody – The Art of Arranging and Performing for Solo Guitar,” is published by Mel Bay Publications.
Dani Vargas
Dani Vargas is an acoustic and electric guitarist, composer, and music educator originally from Santiago, Chile, and currently based in Los Angeles, California. Known for his versatility, he moves seamlessly between intricate solo fingerstyle acoustic arrangements, Gypsy jazz, Swing, progressive metal, and rock. Both of his parents are folk musicians in Chile which inspired his interest in music and art. Aside his work as a solo acoustic guitarist, Dani, along violinist, bassist and singer Jenna Colombet have three current musical projects based in California, the French Café Gypsy Jazz quartet “Le Petit Jazz”, the Swing quartet “San Lyon” and Hard Rock band “Thou Shall Doubt”.

Online tickets sales close at 6pm the night of the show. Any remaining tickets are for sale at Boulevard Music when doors open At 7:30pm unless noted otherwise. Tickets may also be purchased in person at Blvd Music or by phone (310) 398-2583 using a major credit card.
A $3 service charge per ticket is included in the price for online and phone orders. All ticket sales are final. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. For online ticket purchases, you will need to provide the ticket barcode for entry. Please print your ticket or display the barcode on your phone.
Please note all shows start at 8pm and doors open at 7:30pm unless indicated otherwise. People who already have their tickets (purchased them in advance) get in first when doors open at 7:30 pm. After the people who already have their tickets are admitted any remaining tickets will go on sale.
