Rooted in tradition, WHOLE HOG pushes the boundaries of bluegrass, Irish, swing, country and old time music. Lush vocal harmonies, instrumental mastery and fresh arrangements are at the forefront of their unique sound.
Whole Hog has performed at the Father’s Day Festival, Huck Finn Jubilee, the Coffee Gallery Backstage and was the featured bluegrass band in Dark of the Moon – the Musical.
This Ventura-based eclectic bluegrass band is comprised of Seth Andrey Oster, contest winning bluegrass/gypsy and straight jazz guitarist, singer & yodeler; Charletta Erb, CA State Adult Division Fiddle Champion with her lyrical waltzes and Irish and Old time fiddle tunes plus her fabulous vocals; Keith Frankel banjo extraordinaire from Colorado, and Corey Highberg on upright bass who is solid in multiple styles. Plus special guest on tonight’s show Whole Hog features the inimitable Mike Mullins (Cache Valley Drifters) on mandolin.
For a rollicking good time – Go Whole Hog!
