Janet Klein with her band the Parlor Boys perform forgotten gems and naughty ditties from the 1910’s, 20’s and 30’s with panache, style and wit. Her Parlor Boys in the backup band behind Janet’s uke playing include John Reynolds on guitar, Randy Woltz on ragtime piano, Bennie Brydern on violin, Marquis Howell on bass. Her Parlor Boys are a group made up of time warped musicians with fabulous musicianship. “Klein is a music historian as much as she is a musician and singer. She’s an essential worker on the front lines of forgotten music, resuscitating life into material lost to disintegrating celluloid.”—Matt Maranian, Chronicle Books.
